Valeska Kantzer was born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany and studied in the USA as an exchange student in 1995-1996. Before moving to the United States, Valeska worked for an international consultant firm as a Production Coordinator for presentation development. In 1999, she received her business degree, specializing in English/German translation. She moved to Seattle in 2001 and worked as a German translation consultant prior to joining the HRA translation team in March 2003. Since joining HRA, Valeska has supported and managed a wide variety of cross-cultural adaptation projects such as translations of questionnaires and general patient education materials for global studies. Additionally, Valeska has been trained to assist the HRA field staff with patient data collecting projects.
