Kelly McCarrier, Ph.D.,
received his Ph.D. in Health Services Research from the University of Washington
in Seattle and a Masters in Public
Health from the University
of Arizona. He
joined HRA as a Research Scientist in 2006. Kelly's prior experience
includes projects in the areas of health research, program evaluation,
and public opinion research, performed with a wide range of qualitative
and quantitative methodologies. Before coming to HRA, he served as an
evaluation research fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention in Atlanta,
where he worked on qualitative research projects in the area of
tuberculosis prevention. His doctoral dissertation examined patients'
experiences with web-based self-care support programs for diabetes and
other chronic illnesses.
